I’m going to be taking the rest of the day off to find awesome things on the interwebs. I may post some things here. I may not. I may delete my entire blog and start from scratch. I may not. I’m not sure yet.
I need a few hours to find myself. Again.
I just thought I’d warn you.

I really admire Molly Crabapple. I would love to do what she does. (If you don’t know what she does, visit her site.) What I love most about her is Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School. I’ve been wanting to take a class ever since I learned about Dr. Sketchy — as well as take on a great, quirky-sounding persona. And if I could come close to emulating her artwork, I would be supremely happy.
If I could, I would love to create a Dr.Sketchy-esque venture of my own, only with tarot readings. In fact, the more I think about it, the more it sounds like a traveling gypsy caravan in my head.
If I could combine art and tarot in a way that’s as new and exciting as Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School, and be as cool as the “Downtown Phenomenon,” that would be amazing. I’d even take on a weird-sounding persona, like Mistress Tarocchi. Or something to that effect.
I can’t wait to see what becomes of Molly Crabapple’s Week in Hell. I’m sure it’ll be awesome.
Probably my favorite quote ever. For more examples of my work, check out my website: www.shawnsprockett.com

Japanese Table and Chairs in a Box.
Pretty neat stuff!
This is so cool!!! I love the Japanese. They’re so good at blending creativity with spatial economy. I wouldn’t mind living in Japan.
I’ve been wanting to learn Japanese for a while now. That, and attempt the Gothic Lolita look.
[Arjan Haring asked me this question on Facebook six days ago, where I just answered it. I thought it was such a great question, so I put it here.]
LOL. I wish I would have seen this sooner. I would have to say… the Dell Inspiron Duo. I love the flippiness of it. If it were to be preloaded with Microsoft Visio 2010 (Professional Edition), that would be just swinky.
I figure, if I’m going to show some of my artwork, I should just put it all out there. I already have a Behance portfolio, but honestly… I don’t like Behance.
What? I’m already on your blog. You’re crazy.
Well, I’m talking about my blog post for Design for Conversion. I just published it, after some last-minute revisions. It’s been brought to my attention that I’m way too enthusiastic for European taste.
Huh.
the sharpie just got a little sexier.
the stainless steel sharpie.
Sexy, indeed.
